LOS ANGELES — The most intriguing parts of the eBay listing for Fergie's 2005 DUB Edition Hummer H2 are the disclaimers. Most notable are: "The winner will not be able to meet Fergie when picking up the Hummer in Los Angeles" and "Fergie is not able to view any messages sent to this eBay account. Please do not send messages hoping they will be read or responded to by Fergie."
The other interesting part about the listing is that Fergie apparently suffered buyer's remorse after performing at Live Earth and "realizing everyone has a role to play in protecting the environment." The vehicle is being pitched as "Fergie's actual vehicle" and will come with a letter of authenticity.
Assuming you are not put off by the barriers to the pouty singer, who is perhaps best known for her work with the hip-hop Black Eyed Peas, here are more details: The Hummer H2 will remain up for bid until September 15. A total of 53 people have bid on the vehicle, with the current bid, as of Thursday, standing at $64,100.
Fergie's Hummer has 7,341 miles on the odometer. The greatest evidence that she owned it can be found on the custom drop-down side steps by FST Motorsports that feature the word "Fergie" in Old English lettering. The Hummer has 24-inch Asanti V.P. wheels, Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires, two 7-inch Vizualogic headrest monitors and one 15-inch Vizualogic flip-down monitor. It also includes custom fiberglass amp racks built in and wrapped in green suede.
What this means to you: If you've got the bucks, this may be as close as you'll ever come to Fergie.
